  2. To have each participant produce one story with interviews, suitable for submission to unbound II
  3. To produce special section of unbound in time for July 25 Collegebound showcase

Students will complete lede-writing drills and come up with story ideas

July 12 – Interviewing and research

In class research on the web, using:

 interviewing role plays

Students will refine story ideas, identify interview subjects to contact by e-mail

July 17 – Writing the story

Using Roy Peter Clark’s "How to tell a Good Story in 800 Words or Less," students will work on first drafts

Rough drafts for my critique

July 19 – The package

Students will revise and come up with related links, images and sounds to enhance their stories

Story packages for upload

July 24 – Production and copy-editing

Proof-reading stories, testing links, etc.
