Yeah, it may be a high end clothing store, but its in a shitty mall! LOL
I've worked plenty of other crappy jobs that made me miserable, many of times to the point where I would come home and cry just because I didn't know what else to do. I quickly learned to consider my own happiness as a major factor in deciding whether or not to keep a job. Luckily, I have very understanding parents who encourage my thinking that way.
Look, before everyone attacks me for "looking down upon the lunch ladies", I totally dont. It may not be the best job ever but someone's gotta do it. All I'm saying is that you gotta learn to not let things get the best of you. Yeah, you may have a sucky job. But by you being miserable all the time, is that going to make it suck any less? Yeah, most college kids are ignorant, obnoxious, etc, but being rude to them isnt going to make them any less ignorant and obnoxious- it will only enhance it. Pardon the cliche, but when life throws a lemon at you, make some lemonade with it. It's that whole philosophy that I have learned to try and live by, and believe me, coming from someone who used to let EVERY LITTLE THING bother me, I'm much happier now. Life's too short to sit and worry about everything and be miserable all the time.
Dont get me wrong, Im not saying that things dont get to me. Im just more discreet about the things that do. A lot of things get to me, for example, Ramon's post really upset me. I didn't understand why he drew those conclusions about what I had written, and that is why I shared that personal information about my mother's boyrfriend. That was a hard time for me and for me to just blurt it out to everyone, I was obviously very upset by it. But I forgive Ramon, because it was his own ignorance about my situation and my life that led him to think that way. Now that he knows differently, maybe he will have a different view.
