Yes, I would be equally pissed if it was white people who were ignorant to me also, because it happens every day of my life. I am the type of person who wont just sit back and take it though, and sometimes it gets me into trouble. Someone wants to be ignorant and not tell me my total..."ah, excuse me. What was the total on that again?" "Thank you. And YOU have a nice day, too!" Smile and walk away. Kill em with kindness, thats what I was always taught. If someone is ignorant to you, it will piss them off THE MOST if you are nice to them.
Anyway, the lunch lady example was just one of the few things that I meant by how Ive experienced racism in my own way. But, Hell, since noone agrees with me, then I mustve made it up right?
I do NOT agree with discrimination. I do not advocate it. I hate that it happens. It pisses me off that it exists. I cant watch a clip of DR King giving the I have a Dream speech without crying and wondering, "when the Hell is this country gonna get its act together?"
Some Whites discriminate. I KNOW THAT AS MUCH AS THE NEXT PERSON, BELIEVE ME!! I well and fully aware of that fact and I do NOT deny it.
But so do some members of other "races" Thats all I was trying to say, guys.
