For you to even THINK that I suggested that you don't work hard is arrogant and also misinformed.

Racism: The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to another. Where in that definition does it say, "White people hating minorities=racism?" I didnt see it. I saw "belief that a PARTICULAR race is superior to another. By your definition, blacks who hate whites wouldnt be racist then, huh?

Offends me? Nah...I dont have time to be offended. This is part of participation for this class and I will respond to things that I see fit. I made lots of other comments, too about where my idea of affirmative action came from, about a good movie to see dealing with these issues...Hmm, noone responded to those if I remember correctly.

First off, who is WE? Second, I do understand that. But what would you like me to do about that? See, thats what I mean. "Oh, you're priveleged because you are white" my first inclination is to be like, "sorry, man! Blame my mom and dad! LOL"

DO NOT begin to tell me that I have never experienced racism. My mother's boyfriend was black, and I lived with that man for 13 years of my life. I watched my mother lose her friends and her family for being a quote unquote "niggerlover" I watched people stare at me awkwardly when he would drop me off at school or at a birthday party. I watched the kids roll their eyes at me and talk about me behind my back and say "Chrisha's dad is black. Ewwwww." I had no friends because their ignorant fucking parents could not accept the interracial relationship. Ive been through a lot more than you think, so dont fucking tell me what I know.
Now I am offended.
