I personally think the whole conception that the "lunch ladies" are rude is a racist thing anyway.
I don't find them to be rude in any such way, most of them if you take two seconds to talk to them, are very nice sweet people. They're just frustrated. Wouldn't you be if that was the career you were pursuing?
I think that when people say they're rude, its just a misconception. The only rude people I've found there, strangely enough, are the managers, who all happen to be white. Nobody says anything about them though, do they?
