So I just realized that I was stuck in my own world for about . . .well since I was born! I really thought that racism wasn't such a big topic anymore, I thought we already conquered this whole issue, but I guess I have been wrapped up in this "white world". The sad thing is I am hispanic and never crossed my mind that I would live and contribute to this racist world. This chapter really opened my eyes to see that this world is still " a white man's world" and it sickens me!
I think it's strange, how I just realized this now! And sticking with this racism topic, i think I'm dating someone who is racist or prejudist but I'm not sure yet! Does anyone know what I can do to find out? HELP!
