As I learned in class today, I apparently had the wrong notion as to what affirmative action is. The whole "quotas being illegal since 1978" bit I was not aware of. But this leads me to think: where did I get this idea of affirmative action? I know for sure I didnt just make it up one day. What are they teaching about affirmative action in high school, cuz I know thats where I first learned of the term. Why arent they telling it the way it is?
