While we can sit back and say that it's a damn shame that news media has come to this, the fact remains that unless its entertaining or extremely sensationalized, people don't care. Add on top of this the issue of race influencing reporting and stereotypes and there's a nice little amalgam made up of increasing problems throughout the news workplace. What do these problems have in common? No solution. Not only that, but any solution at all would be a compromise, and it seems like it would be years to come. 2025, right? It's disappointing and discouraging, but it's in the media's hands. Journalists are supposed to be kings and queens of communication, but can't communicate enough with each other some times to fix what's wrong.
