I enjoyed the the foreword because it gave the feeling of the book by that I mean it made the reader realize how important it is to make a change for the better in news media, how blacks half to face opposition everday while trying to rise in an institution that has permitted racism for many years. I also enjoyed the preface because I got the feeling that Newkirk would be fair with her conclusions since she states that she will look at bith sides or piont of views that can being taken on wheher or not minorites have a fair chance in news media. I also like the approach that the book will take a dialogue or disscussion format. As a result I believe the book wil be fair on the findings.
