Jeanine and I'm a sophomore journalism major. I live in Bayonne, NJ. It's urban,very city-like, but not extremely diverse. In terms of this class... race is an issue that confounds me. I'm really not sure how I feel about a lot of issues. I think that that is because I don't feel educated or versed enough to voice a valid opinion. I'm looking to learn more about race and gender in hopes that I can resolve some conflicts within myself concerning these topics.
