A black woman, eager and determined: a woman or color; especially a woman of color within her culture; defined through color, part of the black woman; very strong sista ( relation). Very empowering and controlling her own future,; very independent. Associated with sista hood, may also be associated with a ethnic woman achieving a high level of education, surrounds the world of empowerment

Sista hood

Associated with sorority or a group of relationship and tight friendship.

Example. AKA, Zeta’s, Delta’s greek organizations established through black college women; associated with sista; a form of sista hood.

chosen this affiliation as a means of self-fulfillment through volunteer service. Alpha

Kappa Alpha cultivates and encourages high scholastic and ethical standards;

Zeta:

The purpose of this sorority shall be to unite its members in the

bonds of sincere and lasting friendship, to stimulate one another in

the pursuit of knowledge, to promote the moral and social culture of

its members.

Delta:

Delta Sigma Theta is a Public Service Organization. This means that Delta is

looking for members who are dedicated to service, who are scholars, and

who hold the true meaning of sisterhood in their hearts.
